- Duluth Travel is a full-service, service-disabled veteran-owned travel management company based in Duluth, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta. Founded in 1993 by Arthur Salus, a former U.S. Army paratrooper, the company was built on three core principles: responsiveness, simplicity, and accountability. With a deep understanding of the importance of precision and follow-through, Arthur established a company focused on listening to clients and tailoring travel solutions to their specific needs, whether supporting a corporate executive, a frontline employee, or a government assignment.

Arthur Salus
Founder and President
Duluth Travel is led by its Founder and President, Arthur Salus, a highly accomplished service-disabled Army veteran who is an influencer in the government, corporate travel, and leisure industries. He is widely recognized as a trusted, dynamic, purposeful leader with a consistent history of driving the development, implementation, and management of innovative travel solutions that align with our client’s requirements.

Betty Boone
Vice President, Operations and Product
With over 38 years of leadership in the travel industry, Betty brings deep expertise in operations, project management, implementations, process design, and product management. She has successfully led cross-functional teams, spearheaded large-scale initiatives, and delivered solutions that streamline operations while elevating the customer experience. Betty is passionate about turning complex challenges into practical strategies that drive efficiency and business growth. Outside of work, she enjoys knitting, crocheting, and collecting all things yarn, and she and her husband love exploring the United States by car, often venturing off-road to discover the country’s hidden beauty.

Brenda Payne
Client Delivery Director
Brenda has over 20 years of expertise that extends to high-volume call center operations, federal travel regulations (FTR), and joint Regulations (JTR) travel management. She excels at forging collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and clients, translating complex policy requirements into streamlined workflows, and guiding organizations through change to unlock efficiency and value.
I am particularly drawn to my company’s commitment to innovation and customer-centric service. I leverage my background in large-scale account management and process excellence to enhance our travel program’s performance and elevate the traveler experience. She enjoys traveling, shopping, and spending time with friends.

Addie Ohrn
Director of Accounting
Addie is a driven finance professional with a strong background in Accounts Payable and Receivable, specializing in managing financial operations and ensuring accurate monthly closures. She has over 12 years’ experience in the TMC world but is most passionate about data analysis and financial processes. She loves collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting organizational growth through data-driven insights. When she is not organizing all aspects of her work and home life she likes to support her husband in his role as a local high school head basketball coach. She enjoys supporting any of her 4 kids in their various sports and activities by being their ultimate uber driver.

Jason McClellan
Director of Sales
Jason leads strategic business development and sales initiatives across diverse market segments.
Previously, he held leadership positions including Director of Business Development at CTM US, Corporate Sales Manager and Market Development Manager at American Airlines, With nearly 20 years of cumulative experience in travel, aviation, corporate sales, and technology, Jason brings deep knowledge of the travel ecosystem, including incentive travel, duty-of-care strategies, and event/venue sourcing. In his free time, Jason is a committed baseball coach and community advocate. Jason helps his players improve their skills while teaching them the values of teamwork, confidence, and perseverance.

Miryam Gonzales
Human Resource Director
Miryam Gonzalez has been with Duluth Travel since 2010 and has served as the Director of Human Resources since 2015. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Georgia. In addition to her professional responsibilities, Ms. Gonzalez is dedicated to community service and has been actively involved with local dog rescue organizations since 2018. She firmly believes in the power of service, helping others is not just a responsibility, it is a privilege. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on UGA football.

Brenda Salvato
Director of Account Management
Brenda brings over 30 years of travel industry experience with expertise in both corporate and leisure travel. Since joining Duluth Travel in 2022, she has led daily operations, improved agent performance, and strengthened client relationships. She also oversees the leisure department, driving process improvements and client engagement. Known for her leadership and operational insight, Brenda plays a key role in supporting business growth and delivering exceptional service.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, cooking, traveling, and participating in faith-based activities that keep her connected, inspired, and grounded.

Donna Gunderson
Director, Product and Technology
Donna Gunderson is the Director of Products and Technology at Duluth Travel, where she leads the strategy, management, and support of the company’s travel technologies. With more than 30 years of industry experience, Donna’s career spans roles as a leisure and corporate travel counselor, account manager, and specialist in product implementations and training. She brings deep expertise in aligning technology with client needs, ensuring seamless adoption and improved travel program performance.
Before joining Duluth Travel in 2017, Donna served as Manager of Corporate Booking Tools at Williamsburg Travel and held positions in account management, training, and implementations at Travelport.

Thomas Lacny
Duluth Travel Advisor
Thomas [Tom] Lacny is a long-standing advisor to the company and sits on the Executive Board of Leadership. He assists in all aspects of growth, business development, technology and talent management. He is spearheading a full evaluation of future re-invention, fondly referred to as Duluth 2.0. He is hands-on leader and enjoys engaging in client & market facing initiatives.
Tom brings over 30 years of corporate, government, and entrepreneurial experience in areas of corporate travel, expense, payments and technology integration. He is an attorney and business leader to global organizations, having served numerous industry & corporate advisory groups.
He earned his BA degree cum laude from the University of Notre Dame, Mendoza School of Business, and JD in International & Corporate Law from Loyola University School of Law.
