Business Development Manager

Job Description:

At Duluth Travel we care not only about clients but also our people. We’re seeking a qualified business development manager to join our sales team, extending our business opportunities and relationships. The ideal candidate will be working with our Global Sales Director and will be part of the extensive growth of our company.

Responsibilities:

• Researching potential new leads through a variety of channels including sales prospecting platform.
• Assist with development/writing of selected proposals and RFP responses.
• Assist with the RFP project plan, obtaining relevant information to ensure proposal SOW requirements are met.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as prospects website registrations, completing RFP standard forms, updating implementation plan, and tracking of responsibilities.
• Manage selected-small implementations and liaise with relevant teams for the success of the project.
• Prepare presentations when required.
• Communicate with prospects and make arrangements of business meetings when necessary.
• Manage and update CRM system.
• Attend industry related events.

Requirements and Skills:

• Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proactive working attitude and sense of responsibility.
• Ability to communicate with clients.
• Ability to conduct client-facing presentations.
• Anility to operate independently.
• Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
• Clear communication in both written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Monday.com).
• Ability to build rapport.
• Project management skills is a plus.
• RFP basic writing skills is a plus.

Education and Experience:

• BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
• 3 -5 years of sales experience
